I'm Mikayla, the face behind MkayBeauty!

I've been in this business for just about a decade. Hello? Over nine years in the salon and 300 ish weddings under my belt. No free time to be seen, HAHA. That's changing in 2027, and I'm pretty anxious about it , excited but anxious. I'll have more time to spend with my favorite people in the world and travel like I've always wanted while still getting to service you. Balance if you will.

For years, I’ve had the privilege of helping brides look and feel their absolute best through bridal glam. While creating beautiful looks is something I love, my favorite part of the job is the people. I pride myself on being outgoing, personable, and someone who feels more like a friend than just another vendor on your wedding day.

Wedding mornings can be full of excitement, nerves, and a lot of emotions. I love helping create a fun, relaxed atmosphere where everyone feels comfortable. Whether it’s sharing a laugh, calming last minute jitters, or keeping the energy light and positive, I’m there to help make the getting ready experience just as memorable as the rest of your day.

I'm trying not to consider this a rebrand because, well, I'm the same old me  loud, goofy, and opinionated. That will never change. Maybe we call it a refresh? Yeah I like the sound of that. I just don't feel like my last few years in this field have really expressed how I actually am outgoing, fun, and a good time girl. I'm not afraid to be different. I love to show the good, the bad, and the ugly. We're all human. I never want you to feel like you're anything but that, just a girl in my chair having the best time and feeling like the best version of herself, comfortable enough to share your world with me.
